That’s one of the hardest things to write.  Who Am I?  

I am a lover of travel, a travel fanatic per se.  I am the face behind Custom Escapes.  I love helping people and sharing my love of travel with family, friends and clients.  I love to laugh and am (usually) a glass half-full person.  I have found being in the travel industry has helped shape that in me; whether it’s flight delays, lost baggage, maintenance issues, or oversold hotels, travel is not for the faint of heart.  I take it all in because I know I am truly fortunate to do what I love.  

I grew up on airplanes and absolutely loved being at the airport.  At that time, I never dreamed I’d find my career in travel but it has been a great blessing and joy in my life. Having been in the travel industry for 30 years, I can honestly say I’ve been more places than most people but I never want to stop.  I am told quite often that I can’t go everywhere.  For that reason, the quote above has become one of my favorite quotes.  I have NOT been everywhere but it IS on my list.  

That’s a little easier to answer. 

I am a certified travel advisor, travel concierge, and/or travel consultant.  I wear many hats but gone are the years of being an “agent”. 

My main goal is to work with you to advise you the best options for your desired experience and budget.  Before I offer any advice, I love to spend a little time with you to find out your previous experiences, what you envision, your must-haves and ultimate dream for this vacation and see how we can best work together to make that vision a reality.  I truly love what I do and am always grateful that you put your trust in me.

I use my love of travel, expertise and planning skills to create “Custom Escapes” for each of my clients.  I am able to use my network of resources and combine all aspects of the vacations you’ve entrusted me with to deliver a wonderful near stress-free vacation planning experience.
