While your honeymoon may take you anywhere in the world, keep in mind, most destinations will require a passport.

Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands do not.

Hawaii

Hawaii is compromised of six major islands: Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui and Hawaii’s Big Island. Hawaii has consistently been ranked the #1 Honeymoon spot with the island of Maui standing out on top.

Whether you choose Maui or any other Hawaiian Island, you are sure to find adventure and paradise. From the cliffs on the Napali Coast in Kauai to an active volcano on the Big Island, each island has its own characteristics.

You’ll be able to experience a variety of activities including some of the world’s best beaches, lush rainforests, volcanic deserts and gorgeous vistas.

Hawaii does not offer all-inclusive resorts but does offer so many other experiences that it will truly be a trip of a lifetime. A must-do in Hawaii is a famous Luau. Old Lahaina Luau in Maui is one not to miss.

Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is rich in culture and history while still being a beautiful island paradise.

Old San Juan is set apart by its many narrow cobblestone streets and colonial buildings. The island’s history and many of these picturesque buildings date back to the 16th and 17th centuries.

Two of the most popular tourist attractions are the Spanish forts that still stand tall. Now declared World Heritage Sites, Fort San Cristóbal and El Morro are preserved by the US National Park Service and are truly a must-see.

With gorgeous beaches to relax, an amazing rainforest to hike, waterfalls to discover and one of the few places on earth where you can see the bioluminescent waters glow, Puerto Rico has everything you could want for a honeymoon.

Mexico

Mexico is very close in proximity to the United States. That is one of the main reasons it is such a highly visited destination. However, once you arrive, it’s easy to see for yourself why so many people come back year after year.

Mexico is nearly limitless with hotels so there’s never a problem creating the ideal vacation just for you. No matter where you choose to stay, you’ll find the most gorgeous blue waters and the finest sand beaches. Your most difficult decision of the day may be to decide between relaxing on the beach, browsing through the shops, reef snorkeling or being pampered at one of many spas. Mexico is also rich in culture with Mayan ruins from Tulum, Xel-Ha and Chichen-Itza.

Jamaica

Jamaica is three destinations in one; Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril.

Montego Bay is the “hub” located just moments from the airport, Ocho Rios hosts Dunn’s River Falls, it’s famed waterfall, while Negril is famous for it’s Seven Mile Beach. All share the island’s lush jungle, white sand beaches and the sounds of reggae.

With more couples-only all-inclusive resorts than any other island and its relaxed atmosphere – it’s an ideal destination for honeymooners looking for romance.

St. Lucia

St. Lucia, located in the Eastern Caribbean, is known for its signature landmarks the Pitons. These twin mountains, Petit Piton and Gros Piton, are on the Southwest coast and are synonymous with St Lucia and it’s pristine beauty.

While St Lucia is also a renowned destination for its spas and romantic hotels it is also known for its abundance in adventure; deep-sea fishing, open-air jeep tours through the jungle, natural waterfalls and breath taking views.
Discover the perfection of this island as you walk hand in hand on its secluded beaches.

Turks and Caicos

The islands of the Turks and Caicos are another gorgeous and tropical destination. Home to one of the worlds largest coral reefs, there are ample opportunities for snorkeling and scuba diving in the crystal clear waters.

Located just south of the Bahamas, these islands have over 230 miles of the most impressive white-sand beaches. Consistently voted by travelers as one of the world’s best beaches, Grace Bay is known to have some of the softest sand in the Caribbean. If you’re looking for an island paradise, just a short flight from Florida, Turks and Caicos may be your dream destination.
